Assalamou alaikum All Welcome to my Muslimspace Profile. Please bear with me as this page is still on construction. (Since Muxlim Admin changed the background, the slides on my page are not being displayed properly. I hope & pray they are working hard to fix this bug, i'Allah) It is difficult to describe myself without being biased and boring. We all say good things about ourselves, don’t we? Well first of all, I like to think that I’m intelligent, caring, modest, honest and considerate. But Allah (swt) knows best! I am 39 years old, but have been told several times that I look much younger. Yeah I know that I’m getting closer to the big 40 but I'm not one of those people who is panicking about it or on my way to a mid life crisis. All praise be to Allah, I'm comfortable with whom I am really. Just like shaheed br (i’Allah) Sayyid Qutb, I am also a born again Muslim since 1995: clear on the purpose of life, and keeping up with the current affairs and the affairs of the Ummah. I am trying hard to shoulder my responsibility as a Muslim living in Dar al Kufr (the West actually). I like to be more of a dawah carrier. Islam as Deen al Fitrah is my guide to survival in this world. I have a strong passion to follow it further as a system of life and as an ideology. I’m actually among those who believe the Califate is not too far away. I practice my Deen to the best of my ability, though I do acknowledge that there is always room for improvement. I’m striving to build a truly Islamic shaksiyyah within myself. I like to think I am not so materialistic, striving in the dunya with the akhirah in mind. Yet, to be honest, I don’t know whether I’ll succeed in the final exams (i.e. when Angel of Death will visit me!!!). My dearest aspirations: to get Jannah, insha’Allah. Anyway a Muslim can’t aim higher than that. Subhan’Allah!!!

Asalaamu Alaikum Brother,
I apologize for taking so long to respond to your post about arabicegypt.com. This site is a part of the International Language House network of schools around the world teaching languages. The school has two locations- one is in Heliopolis which is outside the main section of Cairo- the second is in Mohandiseen a suburb of Cairo but still close to Downtown Cairo - Heliopolis is VERY far away from Downtown Cairo. I must caution you that this school is not an Islamic school- like Al Azhar and it caters more to European and American college students seeking to learn either Amiyah- colloqiual Egyptian Arabic or Fushah- classical Arabic - used more among the scholars and helpful in Islamic studies. I was one of a handful of practicing muslims who attending the school during the time I was in Egypt. The majority of staff are Egyptians and allahumdullah Muslim!!
