I will now tell you a short story from the time of the Prophet (pbuh), which i have to say i love. When the Prophet (pbuh) went to Taif to call people to Islam, They threw stones at the prophet and called him names. Allah summoned the Angel of the mountains. And just so you know Taif was a town between two big mountains. He summoned the Angel of the mountains to seek the Prophet(pbuh) and to seek permission to crush the whole people people of Taif for torturing the Prophet. Now here comes my favourite bit. The Prophet (pbuh) said."I am not sent by Allah to bring destruction on this earth but i am sent by Allah as a saviour, a caller and to bring love and mercy to everyone". The people that went against the prophet (pbuh), the prophet did not hold any anger towards them or hatred nor bad feeling towards them. He was hurt and pitied them, for he loved them. Now check this bit out, Alhamduillah. He (pbuh) said " Oh Allah, these people who throw stones at me today, it is because they do not know who i am, make them muslim and give them guidance, if they can not be muslim , give guidance to their children, or to their grandchildren" I love that so much. The way the Prophet loved everyone. Even though they were bad to him, he still loved them and wanted them to succeed. Not just now but for the generations to come. So its clear to see the Prophet (pbuh) is the best example for the correct approach for Dawah. To dawah we much have the love feeling first, love towards the fellow mankind. It does not matter what colour , or group of society they may come from. as long as they are human, they are our fellow brothers and sisters. If he/she is bad it is our duty to help them and be good, If they are ignorant its our duty to educate them. So please do not say you hate certain people, as i have come accross so many profiles on this website who claim they hate jews, which is just dividing us all. If you follow these advices given to you by the Creator, you will have a beautiful and attractive inner and outer appearance. WHY DO WE READ THE QUR'AN???? This is a beautiful story An old man lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could. One day the grandson asked, 'Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?' The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, 'Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water.' The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, 'You'll have to move a little faster next time,' and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, 'I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,' and he went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would Leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, 'See Grandpa, it's useless!' 'So you think it is useless?' The old man said, 'Look at the basket.' The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out. 'Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives.' Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) says: 'The one who guides to good will be rewarded equally'

BROTHERLY LOVE AND IMAN Anas (rta) reported: The Prophet (pbuh) said, "No one of you becomes a true believer until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself" [bukhari and muslim]. LOVE FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH SWT Abu Hurairah (rta) reported, The Prophet (pbuh) said" A man set out to visit his brother in faith in another town and Allah sent an angel on his way. When the man met the Angel, the Angel asked him, "where do you intend to go?" He said, "i intend to visit my brother in this town". The Angel said " have you done any favour to him that you intend to collect?" He said. " no i have no desire except to visit him because i love him for the sake of Allah the Exalted." There upon the Angel said " I am a messenger to you from Allah to inform you that Allah loves you as you love him. [muslim]. This shows that the bond of brotherhood in Islam is much stronger than the bonds of blood relationship and wordly interests. So Inshallah lets strenghten that bond and help increase our eman. THE BELIEVER IS ALWAYS GRATEFUL Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan(rta) reported that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said" how wonderful is the case of a believer ther is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity befalls him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him, and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is good for him"[ muslim] . It means to forget Allah in prosperity rather than being thankful to Him for His favour is defiance of His orders. It is unbecoming of a Muslim that in troubles rather than being patient he tends to weep and cry . PRACTICAL GRATEFULNESS Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said," the Prophet (pbuh) would stand in prayer at night so long that the skin of his feet would crack. i asked him " why do you do this oh Messenger of Allah, while your past and future sins have been forgiven?" He said " should i not be a grateful slave of Allah ?"[ bukhari and muslim] . So there fore the best way to show gratefulness is that one should not only be highly obedient and dutiful in the performance of the obligations but also add maximum voluntary prayers to them. YAWNING IS FROM SHAITAN Abu Hurairah (rta) reported. the Prophet (pbuh) said," Allah likes sneezing and dislikes yawning. when any one of you sneezes and says "al hamduillah , it becomes obligatory upon every muslim who hears him to respond with Yarhamuk Allah ( may Allah have mercy on you). Yawning is from the devil. when on of you feels like yawning, he should restrain it as much as possible for the devil laughs at you when one yawns. [bukhari]. The prophet (pbuh) commanded us to stop it either by closing our mouth or by putting our hand across it in order to avoid an act which pleases shaitan. KEEPING SHAITAN AWAY Jabir(rta) reported I heard the messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying"if a person mentions the Name of Allah upon entering his house and eating shaitan says to his followers, " you will find no where to spend the night and no dinner here" [muslim] Following the Prophets prayer (pbuh) when entering a house. we should say Allahumma inni asaluka khairal mawliji wa khairal makhraji. bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna wa alALLAHI rabbina tawakkalna. ( O Allah . i ask you for what is good of entrance and what is good for an exit. With the name of Allah do we enter and with the Name of Allah do we leave and upon our Lord Allah have we put our trust.) WUDHU WASHES OFF SINS Abu Hurairah(Rta) reported. Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said " when a servant a muslim washes his face in wudhu every sin he has committed with his eyes is washed away from his face along with the water. every drop of water on his hands erases the sins from those hands. In result he comes out cleansed of all sins [muslim] BED SUPPLICATION Abu Dharr (rta) reported, When the prophet (pbuh) went to bed at night he used to say " bismika namutu wa nahya (in your name we die and we live)," and when he got up he used to say " Alhamdui lillahil ladhi ahyana ba'dama amatana wa ilaihhinnushur (praise be to Allah who gave us life after causing us to die and to Him is the return)[bukhari] HE WHO OBEYS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH HAS INDEED OBEYED ALLAH (4:80) INDEED IN THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (PBUH) YOU HAVE A GOOD EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW (33:21) so inshallah you can see from these simple actions that we do every single day automatically like clock work, we can increase our ibadah and gain reward for it. All we need to do is have the correct niyah (intention) and always remember Allah swt. and remember He is the ever Watchful. THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH SWS SAYS" MAY ALLAH BRIGHTEN THE FACE OF THAT PERSON WHO ANYTHING FROM US THEN CARRIED IT ACCORDINGLY TO OTHERS.
