A new dawn has come...
A little about myself: I have been described as a "questor" having high capacity for caring, having an emotional face to the world, and having high sense of honor derived from my internal values. I'm more introverted (i.e. shy) than extroverted. I'm as sensing as intuitive. I'm more feeling than thinking. I'm three times more perceiving than judging. I'm clean and organized. I dislike chaos. I'm sort of a perfectionist. I value tradition. I'm somewhat realist. I fit in most places and I enjoy managing others. I respect the authority and champion self control. I prefer working hard; but, I don't like to stand out. I follow the rules and like to finish what I start. I'm resilient. I'm practical and I'm dutiful.
Seek contentment as it is the final goal and all means are subservient to it.

For some reason, I don't like listening to music regardless of it being Islamic or secular. However, that is not to say I don't like specific songs or listen to music while I drive. Some months ago, when my imam was sky-high I memorised some new suwar (plural: surah, chapter in Qur'an) simply by listening to each ayah 100 times, repeating 100 times, reciting 100 times. This was done all while driving. In-sha-Allahi wa Taala, I wish to do that again.
At this moment, however, my audios of interest stem from all genres and all cultures. Quite a diversified pallete, if you will.

Oh, make no mistake, I'm definitely outraged at the religious leaders. Their refutations of evolution shows how extremely ignorant they are. They don't even want to know what the theory is all about. It's like a psychologist trying to refute a theory of engineers without even knowing what the theory is. Also, the idea of "science miracles in the noble Qur'an" I find it quite ridiculous in a great sense. We're told that the expansion of the universe is in our sacred book. How come not a single interprer discovered that in the last 1400 years?! Only after its discovery did we start to make up and fabricate this explanaiton!
Also, in the Arab world, there's this guy who claims that he discovered a secret code in the Qur'an for making medicine and curing the sick. He sells books on the subjects and has a TV show with probably millions of people watching his non sense. In real science, before making a claim about a medicine, it must be tested and peer reviewd by other scientists around the globe. Why dhoes he not do that?! I gret outraged when this non-sense is being fed to us!

As salaamu alaikum,
My life to me is very meaningful as a muslim, and I understand that my purpose in this life is to obey Allah(swt) with a sincere heart, not run after wealth as if it was the main aim in life. I also understand that keeping one's life in balance is hard work, and I know that no one is completely balanced all the time. How I personally balance myself is by way of not placing myself in situations that are unpleasant to me, althrough these situations exist with people everyday. I do not allow myself to feel insecure by others. I each day work on discipling my life, by thinking more about what I really should be doing, and this helps me think less about doing not the right thing.
