About Me:
I'm mostly an introvert, but sometimes an extrovert (like to hang out with them and learn their skills and abilities). I'm very straight forward and find it difficult to sugar coat. I'm skilled at getting attention and know how to stir up controversy (which is a healthy thing sometimes).
his is an excellent description of myself by psychologists.
Your area of intelligence has to do with introspective and self-reflective capacities. Those who are strongest in this intelligence are typically introverts and prefer to work alone. They are usually highly self-aware and capable of understanding their own emotions, goals, and motivations. They often have an affinity for thought-based pursuits such as philosophy. They learn best when allowed to concentrate on the subject by themselves. There is often a high level of perfectionism associated with this intelligence.
Careers which suit those with this intelligence include philosophers, psychologists, theologians, writers and scientists.
The following traits fit my personality:
think a lot and contemplate all the time
self-critical
really get into a good book
have strong views and beliefs
Enjoy problem solving
Interested in a broad scope of fields
Know how to provoke people and get their attention.
Hobbies:
I want to start a high tech industry in the Middle East because I'm sick and tired of the fact that we the Arabs are good consumers and I'm sick of the fact that Arabs like Indians and Pakistanis are obsessed with academia (especially engineering and med school) and yet they fail (the Arabs) to manufacture simple things.

Quotes:
Crowds have their brains in their ears.
My husband is 31 i just turned 24. We have a child together (- born March 25th) My husband came to US by lottery VISA and will get his citzenship next yr Inshallah.. I never really wore provocative clothing before i converted, however i had many friends before Islam that followed the half naked fashion like the rest of the nasty robot women.. (so sad) at this point in time i feel nothing emotionally in fact you could say that at this particular time i am practically devoid of emotion.. and will try to answer your question the best of my ability. From what i know (going to high school and such) women dress in such a way as to attract attention from men (weither negative or positive) they believe that showing off their body exudes self confidence and by showing off their bodies they assume they are respected by men, and make other women jealous which makes them feel powerful.. also they believe that their bodies are what gets them places, and they use their bodies much as a artist uses a paint brush..
in the summer women wear the shortest skirts they leave nothing to the imagination, and bare midriff tops that show as much as the chest as possible (i have seen this everywhere) they believe the women they see on t.v or media are good examples and they try their best to show off. They actually think men respect them because they go around half naked and despite what most people think about US their are MORE Kafrs than christians.. they dont have faith, or belief in much of anything anymore.. they fall into drugs, and drinking, and all sinful things imaginable.. they feel empty inside (so it seems) because no matter how hard they try to supress the emptiness they end up making it worse which in turn causes them to sin more and also brings people down them (men, or women that want to be like them) Their faces are nothing but shadows.. and anyone with even the slightest bit of iman can see this. I believe it is a mixture of culture, fashion, media, immunity ( to the nakedness) and disbelief. It is not that they dont

sometimes it hurts so bad.. to be hijabi and all and you think to yourself.. where is this respect i heard so much about.. all the women blow me of fin the masjid because im a convert, my hubby would rather stare at women that dont cover.. and it just really makes me so sick to my stomach.. i made the decision to cover on my own and i converted before i married but sometimes my heart fills up with pain, and i feel angry.. angry at those women who create fitnah.. and angry because i am confused.. Allahu alam.. i am the best wife i can be and my husband can attest to that.. no complaints on his end.. i am just stuck in the middle sometimes.. wondering if it would have been better to marry a convert and a more pious man.. it really bugs me he wants to fit in, and he has no consideration of all that he does.. and supposedly if i choose to leave (because i dont know how much longer i can put up with the lying and deceit) it is all my fault for splitting up the family.. dont i have a right to be happy, and not cheated?? it just doesnt seem fair how culturally men use such weapons against women and say it is part of Islam.. and they can do whatever they want because they dont fear Allah ta'ala and it is very clear in what they say that they dont.. so sad.. and confusing

yes, my husband is arab.. egyptian to be more precise. However i am not.. most blondes here in the west are bottle fake blondes and i am not.. blonde so sad for him.. he acts like its the end of the world.. and lucky me he works in a gas station ( i just came home from visiting him) he's got some red mark on his neck (2 days now) i cant make up stories so i wont sit here and speculate.. but it is weird.. and also since it being summer and all the half naked women have started to come back out again.. and their favorite stop? Gas stations for munchies, and flirting (rolls eyes) i totally understand some of the issues you bring up in your blogs.. and you have no idea how much fitnah is involved when your female, married to an arab who likes to look at half naked women, (while paying little attention to you) and all the crap that comes with it.. we live in a area filled with chaldeans.. and from what i have seen and heard so far they hate moslems.. and have let me know on several occasions.. but chaldean women love egyptian men.. which brings me back to the whole flirting issue.. brother your lucky your not a female convert..

Brother, I think everyone experiences a spiritual crisis at some point in their lives. I hate to use a christian example, but even Mother Theresa had a very grave spiritual crisis. I think we can learn something about ourselves and about Allah in times as these. Sometimes it is not the material that is false, sometimes it is how we perceive the material. How we view things. the Qu'ran has a lot of symbolism that many literalists (people who take things very literally) refuse to take under account. It says in the Qu'ran that some is meant literal, and some metaphor or symbolically. It is all meant to help us. I cannot tell you what to believe, or not believe in. In Qu'ran it says to seek guidance only from Allah, and from prayer, and that the Qu'ran is meant to bring guidance. I think you will have to discover things for yourself. Good luck brother, and ask yourself what is most meaningful and what you love most. Is it earthly desires or something deeper?

ok forget about me and my under standing , but I believe dr, zaghlul is one of the scholars mention in the following verses. hope you be benefited of him. and it's up to you , salam
1 - Al-'Imrân [3:7] Recite Verse
He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book; in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are not of well-established meaning. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is not of well-established meaning. Seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its true meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.
2 - An-Nisâ' [4:162] Recite Verse
But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the Believers, believe in what hath been revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee; and (especially) those who establish regular prayer and practise regular charity and believe in Allah and in the Last Day: to them shall We soon give a great reward.

... recently I read one of Qaradawys books ... here is an extract from it .... pls read it .........>>>>>>................
“The Islamic faith is reason bound ie verifiable. In Islam it is never said 'believe blindly’ or ‘ignorance is the mother of faith’ if such ‘words of wisdom’ are allowed in some faiths they are forbidden in Islam. The Quran states “bring your proof if you are truthful in your claim” (2:111) ; “Say: ‘bring your proof, if you are truthful’ “ (27:64) ...........
“It is not the heart or emotions which the Islamic faith addresses. It mainly addresses the mind. All the Islamic propositions are open to discussion and are established by strong evidence and unmistakable proofs. Muslim scholars state “reason is the basis of tradition and sound traditions never contradict the work of sound reason.” For instance, the issue of the existence of One God is expounded by the presentation of proofs and evidence from the universe, human nature and history. Another example is the issue of resurrection. The fact is not just stated. The Quran argues that The Creator who first brought man to this life created heavens and earth and brings life to the barren land (ie resurrects it) and can certainly recreate the universe.” .............<<<<<<<....... I have 2 admit that his opinion on this issue feels right .... what about u ? this conversation would b so much easier if we were on-line at the ame time :)
