I would alwayz seek knowledge of self but not until I realized my purpose in life was to worship the cherisher and sustainer of all things and be obedient to Him, was the truth manifest. There are many different philosophies and ideologies about life but it was easy to recognize for me that Islam is a complete way of life leading to the best eternal fate. Allah makes muslims and guides His pious servants along the right path.
