About Me:
Bio - Abdulalim: Brief discription: i am married and engaged and I am 33 , born 1 23 76. In Jersey City New Jersey. I am half Puerto Rican and half Capeverdian and speak neither language fluently. I am married and have been for the past 15 years and have two children ( boys) 9 and 13. I am a professional airbrush artist by trade and poet by hobby. My down time ,if any ,is spent studying various sciences. Particularly theology sociology and biology. I have a strong commanding personality and get along best with passive yet confident people. I try as best as possible to mold and shape my personality around the guide lines of Islam there for I am very conscious of my interactions with others. If I find fault in my character I immediately try to adjust it accordingly. I also request of those around me to advise me of any ill character that they may notice in me so that I may make tawba for it and fix it. My goal is to be as good a muslim as I can possibly be. I love success but not necessarily the american standard of success. Freedom to me is defined by having as much time to worship Allah as possible. Therefore everything that I do I try to make it an act of worship. From the work that I choose , to my studies , to my hobbies and to the people I’m around. Everything is conducive to my worship of Allah. I do not like debt as it can turn quickly to a form of slavery to this dunya. So I stay away from having car notes and other monthly expenses as much as possible. Everything I have or want I like to own out right. This allows for peace of mind as our biggest oppressors are sometimes our socially influenced standards of living. And this is what leads to people being short tempered and aggressive. They have lost the understanding that we had once as children and that we should have as muslims today “ life is short , live it well, make it count”. My dislikes are few. I do not like ill character such as one being argumentative, rude, belittling, lazy , filthy, disorganized…etc…. pretty much anything that is ill character I do not like. But we as humans all have some ill character in us. I am tolerant towards ill character so long as when it is pointed out you try your best to rid yourself of it. The expression “ except me for who I am” doesn’t go very far with me as islam was sent to change the ill character with in us. So if who you are is consciously in opposition to Islamic character then NO I can not accept you for who you are. But if who you are is a muslim striving to be a better muslim then YES, we will work together patiently and lovingly on our short comings insha-allah. Lastly, family is vitally important to me as it is the foundation of society. And my only purpose for being on this planet is to worship Allah and Establish his society here. And for this reason I find it of great importance that the person I intend to marry values the union of family just as much as I do. I take my oath with allah very seriously, though as with any human being I have my short comings. So in my future wife I would like her to be able to encourage me and aid me away from my short comings and help me to grow as a muslim. And insha-allah I will do the same in return. Neica! are you paying attention? sorry ladies , but yes, i think i found her, i really like her, even though she's all into that pop art stuff and andy warhal,.......yuk!!! but i still like her, she's kool. May we be of those who are in the shade of allah on the day of yahmah-ki-yahmah. Ameen.

i'm an artist and artist have a different view of the world then most., which makes us difficult people to deal with at times. we love to express our selves and this is what makes us great artist. but we can sometimes be overly opinionated. so be patient with me and keep this in mind when dealing with me. keeping things simple is kind hard for me. i tend to be a very very very deep thinker and it can drive some people crazy at times. unless of course you like that type of stuff then in that case who knows we might have good conversations. and good conversations makes for great inspiration. and as an artist i'm an inspiration junky =)
