About Me:
I try to find my way in the Labyrinth of the World, I listen, I observe, and I try to understand what is around me, I accept the World as it is and the others as they are, I just try to improve myself. I discovered Islam when I travelled : I was deeply impressed by the faith of modest and simple people. The world is neither a prison, nor the garden of delights. Life is absurd when we do not give it a sense.

Not so much interested in movies but I like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, the Godfather trilogy... Always pleased with Losey, Preminger, Polansky, Almodovar older films.

Books:
History (especially antiquity, XVIIIth and XIXth centuries, Byzantium, medieval Islam, Ottoman empire...), Archaeology, Biographies, Greek and Roman literature, XVIth, XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries French literature : Rabelais, Montaigne, Corneille, Racine, Saint Simon, Voltaire... Shakespeare is great, too ... Travel books, Memoirs and diaries, Contemporary literature: Marguerite Yourcenar, Paul Simenon, Patricia Highsmith, Tolkien.

Music:
Led Zeppelin, Todd Rundgren, Metallica, Nirvana, Rage against the Machine, King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator, Genesis, Yes, ...and some funny things of the Disco era!

TV:
Little interest in TV. I spend too much time on YouTube.
