Thanks for commenting on my page. I do ask Allah all the time for Al Firdaus. Well I ask him for a glass house next to kawthur in Al firdaus. Might as well strive for the best! I make A LOT of dua for a husband. I have a lot of requirements, but none that any Muslim man that fears Allah wouldn't be able to achieve, you know like, keep a job, be healthy and fit, make all his salaats, have good hygiene, not be emotionally closed, not try to fulfill all of his rights, by stepping on mine. It's a give and take you know. And what I pray to Allah for in a mate, I am doing my best to be that way as well, that way, I'm not asking for nothing that I'm not willing to do.

Mahbrook on your marriage! I hear ya on the makes lots of dua, some will marry just for the sake of saying that they are married and then wonder why their marriage doesn't last. I sometimes wonder if Allah may think, oh there she goes praying about a husband because I bug him about it 5 times a day and then turn around and bother him in the middle of the night! Alhumdulilah, Allah will take care of me as usual.

My dear sister,
I feel you....Because you experience what I've experienced and many other races have experienced and I pray that with Obama ( whose half black and white) will change the views of American and Society- and truly bring all together... including those outside of America... to know that the World is watching and all had his back... that does say something... it's time for a CHANGE...and InshALlah Barak as President will aid in making that change. Like JFK, Martin Luther King Malcom X and President Clinton all strived to do.
