About Me:
Assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh...

My name is Kim, and I'm a caucasian Australian Muslim. However, I am Muslim before I am caucasian. And I am a Muslim before I am Australian.

I reverted to Islam in April, 2008. Alhamdulillah, it has been a very tough yet beneficial journey. I learned about Islam while living in Indonesia with my mum, younger sister and stepfather (who worked there at the time). And yes, my family are EXTREMELY supportive of my decision to embrace Islam.

I am currently studying the Bachelor of Learning Management (Primary) which is basically a fancy way of saying "primary/elementary teaching". Unfortunately I have decided that this is not for me. Insha'Allah in 2010 I will move to the city and study Indonesian (although I'm quite fluent) and Islam.

I ask that none of you judge me before getting to know me. I may seem like your average bubbly and Hello-Kitty-obsessed teen, however my iman and level of Islamic knowledge is a lot higher than you may think.

Lately my iman has been really strong and I have been reading a lot of Islamic books that I bought online. All Muslims should read Islamic books on a regular basis as seeking knowledge is a requirement within Islam.

I have become quite well-known on the internet for my videos, but I make them for dawah, educational and entertainment purposes only.

Movies:
I enjoy watching a range of movies from "Transformers" type movies, to horror movies, to comedies, to chick flicks, to Asian dramas.

Books:
Al-Qur'an, Islamic books and general topic books.

Music:
I like clean music and do not believe all forms of music is from the Shaytan.

TV:
Huge Gilmore Girls fan. I love their witty, intelligent humour. It inflates my brain. :D

Interests:
My interests include Islam, Indonesia, Asian pop culture (hence Hello Kitty being plastered all over my Muxlim background), languages, travel, religion and international culture.
