[b][em] Salaamu Alaykum My name is Hussain, i'm 18 and i live in Central London, inshallah I'll b off to Uni this year...where i hope to study Psychology... umm..well..im very open minded and down to earth... im socialble, im a good listener... you've probably already noticed that it says on my page that I am Shi'a, well let me take this opportunity to say that there r many misconceptions about the Shi'a and what their beliefs are, some say we believe that Gabriel (as) made a mistake to give the Prophethood to Rasoolallah (saw)(which is absolute rubbish)... ther's a whole lot more as well..but the fact is these are nothing but blatant propaganda against the Shi'a... I urge whoever comes on this page and has these thoughts about the shi'a, to actually have dialogue with Shi'as, why is it that so many will engage in giving da'wah for hours and hours to our Christian brethren, but when it comes to our Muslim brothers its like..."no,no,no, I'm not going near them, they might indoctrinate me"..what kind of attitude is this? whats the harm in talking with one another, discussing with one another, understanding one another!! To be honest I love discussing with my Sunni brothers and sisters as this is one of the ways in which we can bridge this gap which divides Sunni's and Shi'as... If you don't agree with Shi'a beliefs, then lets agree to disagree, no ones forcing any one to do anything they don't want to do, after all the Qur'an says that there is no compulsion in religion. If you are telling me that the Sunni path is the correct path, then bring me towards your way, discuss with me, rather than attack me, surely that isn't the morality of Rasoolallah (saws)..let us come to an agreement that we worship none but Allah (swt)and that Muhammad (saws) is the Messenger of Allah [/em][/b]
