The first obligation upon the slaves is to have recognition of the purpose for which Allaah created them; and for which He took a covenant from them and the purpose for which He sent them His Messengers and revealed His Books; and for which He created this present life, the Hereafter, Paradise and Hell-fire; and for which the Inevitable would come true; and the Event would befall; and for which the Scales are set up and the Records fly; and for which there would be either happiness or misery; and according to which the lights would be divided: “And whoever Allaah gives not light, there will be no light for him” (an-Noor: 40) al-Haafidh al-Hakamee

About Me:
Born and raised in Lévis a small town close to Québec city, Québec, Canada. Half Algerian, half Canadian, i can speak some arabic, but still have much to learn. I hope i can benefit from the muslims in this space and also would be very happy if i could help my brothers and sisters in any way by Allah's leave. [br] The only reason why i selected ''Yes alhamdulillah'' on the practising question is because the ''sometimes'' just sounded too weird to me, but i am definitely trying to improve... [br][br] وَالْعَصْرِ By Al-'Asr (the time). (Al-'Asr 103:1) [br] إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ Verily! Man is in loss, (Al-'Asr 103:2) [br] إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ Except those who believe (in Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'rûf)which Allâh has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar)which Allâh has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allâh's Cause during preaching His religion of Islâmic Monotheism or Jihâd, etc.). (Al-'Asr 103:3)[br] (thenoblequran.com)

As salamu'alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,

A short reminder for verily reminding benefits the believers.

Thinking Ahead for Prayer

Abû Al-Dardâ’ – Allah be pleased with him – said: It is from a person’s knowledge and understanding that he sees to his needs first in order to turn to his prayer with a heart free of distractions. Ibn Al-Mubârak in Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqâ’iq Vol.2 p726
